Everyone is free to post their blogs with us but there are a couple of rules
The Rules
- You must registered to post your blogs with us.
- You don’t have to be a paying member to post your blogs here, all members and nonmembers can post here.
- All blogs posted here must be industry related. e.g. the home, diy, home-improvement, contractor, contracting or construction industry related.
- You may blog about marketing strategies. i.e. what works, what doesn’t work
- Industry related news & safety blogs are most welcomed. i.e. equipment updates, government regulations...information industry related
- Please select the appropriate category for your blog. (don’t worry we will help with that in the beginning, if needed)
- No, self promoting only is allowed you must include content. (a list of what your company does only postings)
- No, link posting only is allowed (posting a link only to another site with no, to little posted content.)WE CONSIDER THAT SPAM
- No, advertising of products for sale only, use our Contractor Classified Ads for that, its free.
- You may blog about your products (industry related) in a informative way. i.e. with content.
- Yes you may include a link to your website and general company information at the closing of you blog.
- Yes you may include a company pictures in your blog, you may also use a company photo for your avatar/picture.
- Posting for the purpose of spamming only isn’t allowed.
After you have started posting your blogs with us
We will - You should.
- We will - Add your name to the Author / Contributor category
- We will - Monitor your postings and if we needed we will add the appropriate categories & tags to your blog, until you get the hang of it.
- You shouldn't - Worry about having to be a professional blogger to post here. First time bloggers are welcomed.
- You should - See the Category Definitions Page for category information and a better understanding.
- You should - Suggest a category if we don't have one to meet your needs.
- We will - Promote your blogs in all of our social media outlets.
- You should - Put a Direct Link Icon on your website. see Get Direct Link Icon to My Blogs in the My Menu
