tape seems cracking

I have been using this fairly new product "peel and stick" paper tape not fiber and I have been bedding it with the no dust mud. I started using it about a year ago I do mostly repairs on slick ceilings and have had a couple of calls on the tape seems cracking even in my own home not sure what is going on anyone have any ideas or similar problems?

I wouldn't suggest using the peel-n-stick paper tape on the ceilings, but the fiber tape is a good choice. You may want to try using a heavier mud at least for you bedding process and use your "no dust" for your finish pull.

I have heard of a few people having this problem with the peel-n-stick and it only seems to be on the ceilings and don't use it for your corners, stick with good old fashion real paper tape.
