HOW TO ENTER

• No entry fee is required
• You must be a member of MyContractorList.com and agree our terms of service.
  You may become a member of the Homeowner or Commercial Tools for free.
• Make a short video and upload it to YouTube, Vimeo.com or another online video hosting website.
• There is no limit on the number of videos you may submit.
• Email link to your video to contest@mycontractorlist.com Include in your email your full name, link to your video, phone number and e-mail address.
• You MUST ALSO post a link [DO NOT EMBED YOUR VIDEO] to your video in The Contractor Talk Forum in the General Discussion | For Everyone see Topic: Video Contest

CONTEST PERIOD

• PHASE 1
• ALL Video links must be posted on The Contractor Talk Forum by midnight July 24, 2011 EST (Eastern Standard Time)
• All Video links with required information must also be emailed to contest@mycontractorlist.com by midnight July 24, 2011 EST (Eastern Standard Time)
• Contest will end at 9:00 am August 15, 2011
• The winner will be announced on or after August 16, 2011 EST (Eastern Standard Time)

• PHASE 2
• The top seven videos based on votes and comments posted on The Contractor Talk Forum, YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook and all other social media outlets will move on to phase two.
• The top seven videos will be posted on our contest video page and a voting poll will decide the winner.
• Contest will end at 9:00 am August 31, 2011 EST (Eastern Standard Time)

CASH PRIZE

• PHASE 1
• First Place $250.00 based on number of over all votes
• Second Place $100.00 based on number of votes.
• Third Place $50.00 based on number of votes.
  Phase 1 monies will be awarded regardless of the number of entries.

• PHASE 2
• Grand Prize $500.00 Only one can be number one.
  A minimum of 10 individual persons/companies must have entered contest by phase 1 deadline before anyone will be eligible for phase 2 monies and contest to continue.
  A minimum of 1000 votes is also required before any winner will be declared and monies paid for Grand Prize (phase 2) winner.
• Payments will be paid through PayPal or Certified check.
• Payments will be made within 72 hours of announcement of winner.

MUST BE

• Video must be at least 30 seconds but no longer than 4 minutes.
• Video must be rated G for everyone.
  meaning if the movie theatres would rate it R, it will not be considered.
• The Contest is offered and open only to persons who are at least the age of majority of the jurisdiction of their residence at the time of entry.

CAN BE

• Videos can be fun, funny, smart, entertaining, dramatic, animated or even boring.
• Videos can be about any singular part of the site or the entire site in general.
  meaning about the contractor tools only, or the blog page, employee tools what ever.
• Videos can be set in a TV commercial type format.
  meaning: you may use real people talking about or situations referring to MyContractorList.com

YOU SHOULD

• Include our logo in your video. (kinda goes without saying)
• You may also want to include our "Blue Man" in your video.

GOAL OF VIDEO

• Site/Logo brand recognition
• To get people to talk about and view MyContractorList.com
• To Get Attention for our site, our paying members and our advertisers.

YOU MAY INCLUDE in closing

• Production credits.
• Link information to your site or social networks.

MUST NOT

• Videos must not portray MyContractorList.com or any of its members in a bad lite.
• Videos must not violate copyright laws or use brand names or logos other than MyContractorList.com logos in your video.
• Videos must not contain any inappropriate material.
